Bike Mallorca – Bicycle Rental

1. 

General

 

These Terms and Conditions apply to all rental agreements between Bike Mallorca (S. Gramsch, Carrer Sol s/n, 07638 Colònia de Sant Jordi, Mallorca, Spain) and its customers. By renting a bicycle or equipment, the customer accepts these Terms and Conditions.

 

 

2. 

Rental Requirements

 

• Minimum age for rental is 18 years.

• Minors may only rent bicycles with the written consent of a legal guardian.

• A valid ID or passport may be required as proof of identity.

 

 

3. 

Rental Period

 

• The rental period begins at the time of handover and ends at the agreed return time.

• Late returns may be subject to additional charges.

• Early returns do not entitle the customer to a refund.

 

 

4. 

Rental Fees and Payment

 

• Rental prices are listed on www.bike-mallorca.com or communicated individually.

• Payment is due at the start of the rental period in cash, by card, or via agreed payment method.

• A security deposit may be required.

 

 

5. 

Use of Equipment

 

• Bicycles must be used with care and only for their intended purpose.

• It is strictly forbidden to use the bicycles in competitions, off-road, or for illegal purposes.

• The customer must follow all local traffic laws.

• Helmets are recommended and can be provided on request.

 

 

6. 

Damage, Loss, or Theft

 

• The customer is fully responsible for the bicycle and accessories during the rental period.

• In case of damage, loss, or theft, the customer must inform Bike Mallorca immediately.

• The customer may be liable for repair or replacement costs.

• Theft or accidents must be reported to the local police.

 

 

7. 

Liability

 

• The customer rents and uses the bicycle at their own risk.

• Bike Mallorca is not liable for accidents, injuries, or damages caused by improper use or negligence.

• The customer is responsible for ensuring they are physically capable of using the rented equipment.

 

 

8. 

Cancellations and Refunds

 

• Cancellations up to 24 hours before rental start are free of charge.

• Later cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 100% of the rental price.

• Refunds for early returns are not possible.

 

 

9. 

Privacy Policy

 

Personal data collected during booking or communication is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

 

 

10. 

Jurisdiction and Applicable Law

 

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. The place of jurisdiction is Palma de Mallorca, unless otherwise required by law.
